🚨🚨🚨"They call them MILLIONS!"In a ground-breaking, one-of-its-kind partnership in Asia, Tradable Bits, the #1 CRM and Fan Engagement platform, and DAZN Taiwan are joining forces to create more opportunities for fans to engage before, during, and after telecasts. In Once Upon a Time in the West, Cheyenne (Jason Robards) tells Harmonica (Charles Bronson)how a railroad will change the West: people will make not hundreds of thousands but thousands of thousands of dollars. To which, Harmonica replies: They call them "millions”.Tradable Bits’ tech and partners engage with tens of thousands of fans on social media and sports venues at any given time. With this partnership in place, Tradable Bits and DAZN will now have a captive audience in the millions that can interact in real time before, during and after any sport event being broadcast.Who is going to score first? Was it a strike? Was it a penalty?Who is the man of the match?Whether through a QR code or a social media post, DAZN Taiwan and Tradable Bits will provide the fans with endless ways to engage with their favourite content when it matters most.As importantly, DAZN Taiwan will have more digital inventory that can be monetized for their advertisers and sponsors, collecting that first party data which now is elusive at best.I want to thank Lisa Liou and Raul Chiang for championing Tradable Bits solutions internally. And of course the team at Tradable Bits, starting with Darshan Kaler, Greg Bobolo and Tim Mullaly. They brought me in to grow this market for the company, supporting and guiding me over the past months. I am super pumped that Tradable Bits is partnering up with one of the biggest brands in sport. This is just the beginning.Ad majora!

Dazn makes a bold move for its business growth.🔎 Zoom in > Elena is not an entertainment and media executive. Her background is more in the digital arena with big experience at tech start-ups, scale-ups, and PLCs.🔩 How it Works > DAZN’s freemium offering includes live events, video-on-demand, news, stats, archives, shoulder content, and social features.🎞️ The Big Picture > The freemium tier will be a driver of business growth as well as open up new avenues for rights holders and users.🔢 By the Numbers > The goal is to reach 1 billion users globally.💡 Why it matters > The freemium approach is very common in digital services, especially in the SaaS category. It's a way to give users a try for your service for free with certain limitations. It's a pure growth strategy.#dazn #freemium #growth

From Thanksgiving football to the NBA on Christmas, the holidays mean big business for sports... and an opportunity for FAST channel growth. Many FAST channel providers are filling holes in a fragmented sports streaming marketplace. "As consumers look to reduce their SVOD spending, FAST services can provide and monetize that content, attracting sports fans while boosting ad revenues. DAZN for example runs FAST channels for women’s football and combat sports, and even showed the UEFA Women’s Champions League for free on YouTube."So how can you get in on the latest FAST channel trends? We think you should start here matchpoint.tvhttps://lnkd.in/gT-WzfqX

European football is in a state of financial and media flux. Let's take a quick look around the markets:1) #PremierLeague - unlikely to have the rights competition they hoped for. They're set for a dip in per game rights value alongside a major increase in the number of available games to keep revenues up. The power has shifted towards the broadcasters.2) #LaLiga - sold a proportion of their future media revenues to CVC. Not looking like a great investment as they've lost some of their biggest league stars since the deal. Rights values outside Spain will be a challenge without the global stars of Messi and Ronaldo helping global appeal.3) #Bundesliga - are lacking domestic market competition and are having challenges in non-key markets. They're also considering a private equity injection.4) #Ligue1 - just lost one of their biggest domestic broadcasters from the bidding race. Will be struggling to keep revenues at status quo. 5) #SerieA - tried a 'splice and dice' approach for rights that weren't fit for market conditions. Have gone back to the drawing board on their approach. We breakdown all of this on the latest #StreamTimeSports. Also on the pod:The National Football League (NFL) - are really seeing some interesting things happening across wider media:1) Does Taylor Swift's newfound interest in the sport equal a triple win for her, the Kelce media juggernaut, and the NFL in engaging new audiences?2) The arrival of Genius Sports betvision product. is it a real game changer to provide a high quality, low latency for betting partners for a top tier sport? Will it augment the in-play betting experience and drive a new opportunity on a new rights carve out?3) Toy Story and #AR viewing- does using data powered content open another new media rights opportunity? Not only that, but the story telling connection with younger fan bases..And last but not least we talk about a new approach with vertical video that could be a game changer for live sports. More and more innovation coming out of Disney Star and India! As you can see, Chris Stone and I have put together another action packed pod!Subscribe, rate, and take a listen. The link is in the comments :)#streaming #sportsbiz

📺 MVP move for broadcasting women’s sports.🎯 Future-focused🎯 Smart🎯 Hollistic commercial view👀 Women’s sport evaluation (incorrectly) has too much weight on Reach (a traditional metric used heavily in the men’s game), which in turn artificially limits it’s commercial value, which in turn caps it’s sponsorship investment, which restricts support (marketing, performance & more),which means missed audiences, missed opportunity & missed value.💰 With DAZN opening up its paywall for women’s football,🏟️ it means more ‘casual fans’ tuning in, it means ‘new fans giving it a go’…ultimately growing audience, fandom and equally importantly, commercial value for sponsors, 🚀which in turn will bring more investment, which will create even more eyeballs….& on & on it goes. 🧨👁️ Free-to-air coverage of women’s sport at this stage of its life-cycle is good for fans, sponsors, governing bodies AND BROADCASTERS.Way to go Hannah Brown & DAZN 🦾https://lnkd.in/gb2t3Mjm#womensport #sportsmarketing #sports

This season, Footballco and Twitch are teaming up to bring more of our conversation-led football formats to the platform and help brands reach a new generation of football fans across Europe with a unique co-sell collaboration.Miles Chambers, Editorial Planning Lead for Footballco, said: “In 2023, more young fans are following football on digital channels than following it on TV. But the fan fragmentation across platforms can make it challenging for brands to connect authentically at scale.“Footballco’s formats are designed to build Gen Z fan communities within football that will be conversational and interactive on Twitch - with partners benefiting from the ecosystem we can plug them into across our channels.”Krishan Patel, Director of Sales, EMEA for Twitch said: “On Twitch over 35 million people come together every day with communities of like-minded people to share their passions."Gen Z and Millennial audiences now expect to play an active role in the content they consume and are moving away from passive viewership. This exciting next step in Twitch Ads’ collaboration with Footballco presents new opportunities for brands to engage a new generation of European football fans authentically and on their own terms.”Read more in Broadcast Sport 👇
