And, as expected, Parker Retzlaff’s last lap moves stoked controversy in the racing community. The racing community was divided on whether Parker Retzlaff intentionally made the move or not. He said, “(Parker) did one of the best jobs I’ve ever seen pushing. He had me crossed up a few times where I was sideways out of control, I could tell even to the restart he gave me space enough to where I could gather the car and then push me again. You see a lot of guys just kind of run through you in that moment, especially at the end of these races. Huge hats off to him. I owe him, I don’t know how old he is, a beer if he’s old enough, or what. He did a great job, for sure.”

The youngster is carving out a decent career for himself in NASCAR. Retzlaff pursued his interest in racing as a career in the year 2019 when he was just 16 years old. He started racing in the ARCA Menards Series East as the no.74 for the Visconti Motorsports. His association with the team and the car continued in the ARCA Menards Series West and ACRA Menards Series before moving out to the Xfinity series.

Impressed by his early performances, Jordan Anderson Racing brought Parker Retzlaff into the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2022.
